Portrait

Hello, world! I’m a Computer Science junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with minors in Neuroscience and Data Science, focused on autonomy, systems engineering, and applied research.

I currently work on a VTOL drone with Carolina Skylabs nicknamed "The Northern Cardinal" which is modelled after the X1 Thorn. I also develop production software at MindUnite, and am a Spring Software Eningeering Intern at POZzlePiece Inc where I am working with AR/VR. I’m especially interested in inventing innovative solutions to just about anything, so I'm always down to chat!

TESTIMONIALS

Kind words from people I've worked with.

Vivienne Hnin is one of the finest IT Student Apprentices to ever be employed at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. In her second semester, she continues to develop great customer service skills and improves the institutions trust in us for reliable IT service. She’s overcoming the difficult task of managing her time as a full-time student and employee, not to mention has become one of our most valuable assets as a student employee. Vivienne’s determination continues to shine as she shows up day in and day out, serving the students, faculty, and staff of the Business School here at UNC-Chapel Hill. Customers have reported their interactions with Vivienne to be pleasant and helpful. Vivienne will eventually graduate from UNC, and when she does, will make an incredible addition to any team that she lands in. As her manager, the most notable aspect of her performance has been to step in when others have called out, it shows a level of motivation and drive that we often lack.

Anothony "T.C" Lo Ré Vivienne's Supervisor @ Kenan-Flagler Business School

Vivienne is one of the most talented, determined, and diligent students I have had. When I first met her, she had pages of research on the colleges she wanted to go to. And throughout our time together, Vivienne always took the initiative to research, write, and learn more about the college applications process. She also interned for the company helping out with content writing, business development, research, and marketing. A truly multi-disciplinary talented person. It was a pleasure to have known Saw, and to whomever reads this I just want to say: I recommend Saw for any future opportunities with full confidence, and so should you!

Thaw Zin Aung Gyi CEO @ Success Admissions · Ivy League + Oxford grad

I am happy to recommend Vivienne Hnin based on her excellent performance as an IT Student Worker on our team. She consistently demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills, reliability, and professionalism while supporting hardware, software, and network issues. Vivienne learns quickly, communicates technical concepts clearly to non-technical users, and approaches challenges with a positive, solution-oriented mindset. She is dependable, organized, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team. I am confident that Vivienne will be a valuable asset in any IT role she pursues.
